back from chalet!
woot im back from chalet! gosh that was fast.
anyways, me just gonna like give updates on what happened:
day1: it rained when we were going. they said the bus was coming at 2 pm at the taxi stand. we waited and a bus came at 2 pm alrite, but we thot it was only going to downtown east. so we figured it wasn't our bus, but guess wad? it was! anyways we were relunctant to move unneccesarily because it turns out i was teh only one with an umbrella. brilliant. it's dec for crying out loud, of cos there's rain. whilst waiting for the bus, i saw ashley and talked to him abt it. naturally we were talking abt games. or rather abt the crazy specs that games require. we were talking abt the crysis and how crazy the specs are. (the official word is, the requirements of Crysis is ???...cos as far as they can see, no current system can operate such a game...no..not even the cell processor powered PS3...now taht must be something....and he was talking abt how his com barely manages FEAR...and how u will need a physics card to run GRAW(ghost recon, advanced warfighter) properly.
when we got there, weicun promptly set up his ps2 and the chinese scholars connected their laptops to teh power points. some were playing RPGs, others were watching movies like deathnote. most of us opted for playing the PS2...we were playing winning 11, KOF and guilty gear. and weicun was like untouchable for KOF...esp when he uses whip... no way to even get close to him.
barbeque, and it wasn't long b4 everyone got full but we had alot of food left. wad's worse is taht we got some vegetarian food bcos we thot dipak and hitesh were coming. well, they din.was loking for sid cos as it turns out i know that his chalet is teh same time and place as mine, so we agreed to settle our match once and for all.
wad match? the one we set last year. A 1 on 1, m4 vs awp match.yah u noe...
couldn't find him.
anyways, that nite we spent playing polar bear and cards, and murderer. well to make it random and to eliminate the need for a mc, we did selection via cards, as in the card u get determines the role u play.
and swell, i end up playing detective most of the time.
well, in the end, only me, choonhua, peiran and shiyuan were still awake, so we went for a walk....or that was teh plan.
we walked to the lobby, and then we sat down. i fell asleep tho..and woke up later to find everyone else asleep as well. cept for peiran. i went back cos the place was crawling with mozzies. of cos by now there was hardly any space left so i had to sleep on the stairs....prob not a gd position, cos the next day i had a headache AND a painful right arm(prob was using it as support for my head...) well that's the end of day 1....i'll talk more abt the chalet in the coming days.
