service learning or learning journey?
ok, here's the thing.
people are complaining taht our class is liek slacking off for service learning cos we're like doing it at a library, cos they expect us to like enjoy the aircon while shelving books. that's true for teh 1st shift. and im guessing taht the other gusy in other classes aren't too pleased with that.
well i bet tehy'll be green with envy when they ehar abt the 2nd shift.
we go there and they say no need to shelve already.
1st they wanted to show us teh libraries' search facilities. so they needed to find a location to give a lecture...and we ended up walking all over the library...lolz like soem guided tour.
then they told us to be audience for a speaker for teh world bank.
the talk was in formative, and very interesting.
later we had a recpetion (wah...where got liddat one...CIP...just go sit for talk and go for reception nice lorz-best siah!) where we talked to teh world bank representative and in was very interesting!
woot!
but here's the thing...
ms chan came with us...and becos i like answered most of teh qns posed by the librarian during the library talk, he was like: ' gdness is he like ur best student in class..''
im lik0_o...think not.
cos ms chan like noes my stats like rather CMI de...=P
hhaaz
and then the speaker from wrld bank was saying taht iposed him a v gd qn.
haha...izzit?...all i asked was whetehr it was possible for a nation to use the world bank as a tool for their political agenda, cos he mentioned taht the main powers were countries like britain and us and japan...and someone was asking abt n korea and i was thinking abt how usa once promised n korea supplies if they stopped their nuclear ambitions. so yah. that's why i was wondering.
furtehrmore he also stated taht countries taht owe money to world bank due to loans may be forgiven of their loans have conditiosn to apply like policies that are spposed to help reduce the problems of poverty in the future.
yah...just higghlight my thinking process.
not taht it's anything.
